NSFDC - NATIONAL SCHDULED CASTES FINANCES AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
Set up in February 1989, under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment for promoting economic empowerment of poor schuduled caste persons throught the country.It is a wholly-owned government company with an authorised share capital of Rs 1000 crore and paid up capital of Rs 454 crore.
The main objective of NSCFDC is to empower the poor schduled caste people by providing financial assistance for their income generating ventures by developing their technical/enterprenuerial skills. The financing is done through SCA's ( STATE CHANNELISING AGENCIES) nominated by state governments and union territories.

LOAN SCHEME- FOR PROJECTS COSTING UPTO 30 LAKHS
MSY- MAHILA SAMRIDDHI YOJNA
MKY- MAHILA KISAN YOJNA
(both for women benificiaries, have loan upto 30000/-
MCF- MICRO CREDIT FINANCE
SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES - free training for educated unemployed youth.
The NSFDC basically avails loans to any Indian from the schduled caste community living below double the poverty line (bpl) .
